Hi I posted a week ago that I was getting exhaust smell from my hot air vent on startup on inspection I found the fitting connecting the exhaust pip to the unit was not welded correctly, I have bought a new fitting which has no weld so can't leak I have reassembled with exhaust sealant and started it up, great no smell, I have CO detector which I put in the blast from the vent. No alarm from the detector so can I assume I have no CO from the heater?
Regards Mike.
