Coupled with a 5.0m tide, at Sparkes you now have to walk UP the ramp to get onto the pontoon from the quayside.


I chickened out from actually attempting to walk along the pontoon.

At Shamrock Quay the ramp is upwards onto the pontoon most HW springs. Thankfully the pontoon has regular piles and is very very stable. The most frightening pontoon I ever walked along was in QAB, the long one they kind of share with Plymouth University. Never again, seriously.

F9 on Chi met yesterday at 10.45 AM , sea trial out the question , no data from Bramble met buoy again I’d say it’s probably half way to Holland by now .
