They seem to have had a right ol'slagging off on Scuttlebutt !!

Does the panel think that most "eater'ies" based on Marina biz are rubbish or over-priced ?

The sign said all day breakfast so we sat down. Turns out they haven’t done the breakfast for ages (though the board was still up mind) so I ended up with a designer salad with some cheese lumps on top for eight quid.
Later, still hungry, we tried the Chinese, and were shown to a table. After a quick inspection of the menu prices we beat a hasty retreat to town, where instilled in a main road restraunt we had twice as much for half the price.
Where were we? Puerto Solento of course, the only marina I know of where if you own property there your restaurant bill can be added to your mortgage.

On the other hand the Indian restaurant in Southsea Marina (Bombay Bay) is well worth a visit. A good pint of well kept bitter out on the large balcony overlooking the marina (see below) whilst they prepare your order, then inside to eat . The Air conditioner was struggling a bit last week but normally that shouldn’t be a problem. With great food and attentive staff and reasonable prices it’s well worth a visit.
