Can you image his school careers advisor, "what do you want to do?" "I'm going to sail other people's yachts around writing about it and making videos and I'll not only get paid, but yacht manufacturers will be desperate for me to do it!" "I think you should set your sights a little more realistic, perhaps professional footballer? or pop star?"

For one of the most irritating journos in the industry I find it amazing that keeps his job. Something several mates have also commented on.

I couldn't agree more. He lurches between dejection and hyperbole and I can't watch his reviews.
Bring back Chris Beeson, sadly missed.
That might be a function of his superiors. They probably want something more probing and clear cut. And meh and OK are not going to rouse any emotions.
