"Helping" swmbo with her Dayskip homework last night and noticed some alarming changes to the channel coastline.
According to the RYA practise chart 1, there are now two b****y great islands just off Berry Head, furthermore, the Cotentin peninsula appears to have been recently relocated about 25NM south of Salcombe.
Are these changes due to recent tectonic activity? If not we were b****y lucky on holiday, we must have sailed between the two islands without noticing them. Better renew our charts next year, just in case.
