I was talking to someone this morning, during a jog along the prom at Burnham , and this fine looking ship crept into our conversation:

Yacht Seven Kings

She was originally built to 100A1 by Seven Kings Sea Scouts, under the careful eye of Group Scout Leader Derek Williams.

It's just pure idle curiosity.

My dad helped build her. When I saw her on Hayling island she was owned by a Norwegian chap who was planning to have quite a lot of work done, which involved reworking it into a gaff rigged boat with fixed keel. I'm not sure why you would go to the trouble of doing that to a centre board bermudan ketch which by all accounts sailed very well - if you want a gaff rigger, surely you'd just buy one and not go through all the hassle of reworking an existing boat? He had been planning this work for some time but had been caught up with various unrelated legal wranglings which had delayed things. The condition was as shown in the photos on the site in the OP with the interior stripped out and the centre plate and deck hardware removed. Last I heard he had given the go ahead for work to carry on, but that was prior to covid and I haven't heard any further updates as to whether anything more has been done.
