with the article about changing injectors and copper sleeves in a volvo twin cylinder, buy 2 new injectors at a £150 + each and by the way dont damage tips cause they wont give you the exchange value if they are, total job cost nearly £700!! what planet are they living on or are yotties conditioned to pay thru the nose?
when i learned my trade i got the injector tester out, stripped the injector, cleaned the nozzles and all associated bits with the tools supplied with the tester, reassembled and reset the breaking pressures, as a last resort i fitted a new nozzle.
if you werent as fortunate as me to have access to a test kit you took them to the local wagon diesel wshop and they did the same, new injectors? what a load of bollocks

Brothers heading down the irish sea now, he was hoping for north easterlies, don't know if he's getting them, on his way to cork, then across biscay, joining me for winter in sardinia.

wow you must be rich, most expensive night with next to no facilities in Wales I think, no wonder you can afford to buy new injectors at the start of every season /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Must have been miserable there too with all the rain, Aberystwith has nothing to entice visitors, which is a shame. Though there is a nice bar under the bridge, the owner is a keen sailor too.
