with the article about changing injectors and copper sleeves in a volvo twin cylinder, buy 2 new injectors at a £150 + each and by the way dont damage tips cause they wont give you the exchange value if they are, total job cost nearly £700!! what planet are they living on or are yotties conditioned to pay thru the nose?
when i learned my trade i got the injector tester out, stripped the injector, cleaned the nozzles and all associated bits with the tools supplied with the tester, reassembled and reset the breaking pressures, as a last resort i fitted a new nozzle.
if you werent as fortunate as me to have access to a test kit you took them to the local wagon diesel wshop and they did the same, new injectors? what a load of bollocks
