Harwich Shotley ferry

Am I right in thinking the Harwich Shotley ferry doesnt operate this time of year?

IIRC it does run in Winter, but there's a reduced service.

I have just checked this year's timetable. It ran over Easter, then daily from 30th April - 4th Sept, then weekends only until 25th Sept.

It does not run in the winter. Whether you can still book it for private trips outside those dates I don't know. The contact number for further information is 0791 991 1440

I watched them lift the ferry on Tuesday, so suspect its all over until the spring!

Indeed it is. Engines lifted out for servicing yesterday.
