Hello All

Can anyone share with me the suitability of the Hartley Fijian (43') design as a blue water cruiser?

To me they feel like pretty good boats. A large flat deck, standing rigging outboard, long fin (or is it a long keel with cutaway forefoot). 20 ton displacement...

Any comments?
Thanks
Charles

It will depend on who built her. ferro boats can be very good, but you get the odd dog knocked up very poorly in someone's back yard.

try www.ferroboats'com for some more insight.

Best boats tend to be yard built.

To me she sounds a touch overweight hinting at an amatuer job.

Make you sure your surveyor knows ferro.
