Recenly been to Hartlepool - when we were shopping for a boat, didn't buy one there but seems a nice marina, lots of room. Our boat is moored at Hull Marina which is good, but tide locked -3 or +3 of high water.

Hi Mike

Nothing in particular - I was just wondering if there had been any horror stories.. clearly not otherwise this thread would be full of them. I'm looking to move over later in the year to 'more or less' live aboard. Hartlepool is a luxury metropolis compared to where I am currently - though I can't knock it, I've enjoyed my time there!

Hi Tom. Hartlepool is a cracking place to live aboard, with plenty of short hop destinations both North and South. lots of eateries, pubs 'n' clubs all within a couple of minutes walk of the marina. Huge Asda and Morrisons only 5 minute walk away. Let us know if you head over here. Regards, Mike.

Sounds about right.. in that case at 8m would make mine £1320. Fleetwood costs me £1120 and quite frankly is very poor and basic in facilities, plus access to sea sea is only HW+-1.5 hours. The people there are great though - I can't complain.
