Hardway Grid Bookings

I got onto the bookings page for the washing off grids at Hardway to try to book a spot to scrub my bottom and was greeted with "

VISITORS ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO BOOK OR USE GRIDS AT HARDWAY SAILING CLUB
VISITOR GRID BOOKINGS ALREADY BOOKED WILL BE HONOURED"

Does anyone know why this might be?

Has the system been abused or something?

I'm disappointed as I hadn't had a chance to use it before and was looking forward to using the high pressure hose on my boat's very weedy bottom

I believe a change of policy was voted in at the recent AGM. I can’t remember the logic behind the decision and I was t at the AGM.. There are other Hardway members who are active on this forum so perhaps one of them will know the reasoning.
