Hard Top - Med - Why?

Re: A grumpy sceptic view.

I think these are to blame .
Having had a Sunseeker decked out in there wares ,they are dreadful , tight , poor ally zips that blow , tiny zips , holes that don,t line up , lots of similiar trangles ,loads of pieces , difficult to fold and identify etc etc .
http://www.flexicovers.co.uk/
JTB must have the resolve of a saint to not be put off like the weaker mortals :) above .

The stuff we have ( sorry forgot the name ,made in Naples ) is light, folds easy ,huge plastic YKK zips that fit ! , absolute doddle to fix - the straps have those large buttons that you with zero force just clip on then adjust .
The Binimi is wide enough to cover the cockpit side ways , ( no curved in radar arch you see ) so s hardly any need to fit the sides if it rains .

Storage -dedicated cupboard in the saloon behind the mirror -it's like builder and cover maker on the same wavelength ,or builders listened to punters ,responded to feedback -dunno -it's all a doddle -really ++ experiance ,not putter off .

So for me Flexicovers are /have knackered there own buisness --- if they had 1/2 a brain and made them more user friendly then they would get folks hooked not put them off .
A typical Brit example of head in the sand "we know better ' UK manufactoring --
I bet there T/O is shrinking year to year .-put it this way the Brit 2 or is it 3 big three do not make a 40 ft ++ open ?
You can,t blame the weather -SS export 98 %
Hunton 43 a particular shocking example of Flexicovers influence .

Re: A grumpy sceptic view.

Either way - I'm frankly astonished that you're prepared to even contemplate stepping aboard a Targa 37 - with outdrives!! :D

Despite my passionate entreaties, chum bought a T37 with a pair of the devils anchors and sporting a modified circus tent. .......we all make mistakes.
After much ear bending he got it a bit right on the next boat....a nice pair of lusty diesels turning a set of shafts but still the unfortunately the tent.
Eventually , my constant whining or his good sense resulted in a sensible Flybridge with shafts.
However, recently there has been signs of regression and some mention of a Fairline 52 up for sale nearbye :(
May have to eat my words yet again to get an invite on this one.:)
