We took our first boat out today for winter layup.
A bit early but the owner works off shore and knew he wouldn't be back for 2 months.
It then occurred to us, looking round at available space, just how many boats had not gone in at all this year.
Couple to this five boats taking up space waiting their turn in one of the sheds and we were left thinking, hmm a few more boats out and we're full.
Not a good sign in late September.
Is it the same where you are?
Are there more boats then normal that didn't quite make it afloat this year?
