I was only saying what I'd do, at no point did I say what you could or couldn't moan about, so yep you have the right to comment on whatever you like in whatever way you like, much like T25 did, and his picture should have stayed because of that fact...

And I also think personal attacks on Louise are uncalled for, hence why you wont find one on here from me (one that wasn't tongue in cheek as usual anyway) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif but that picture was hardly a personal attack was it? It was light-hearted banter from what I can see...

But yep I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, but obviously I'm right /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

So far I have been accused of being a member of the forum clique ( reminds me , must check status of the application ) and now I'm a bully /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If you care to review my post you will find the picture gone because after the third post agreed with you I decided to pull it . How exactly does that go with your accusation of my being a bully ?
My initial post was intended to try and make light of the situation and to ease tension , it was not intended to inflame it , you have managed to do that without any help from me .

There is an advert being screened on the TV recently that has a young male student announcing to his nervous lecturer that if it would help him to picture the student naked then he should go ahead . That was the effect I was attempting to convey . Not being sexist or insulting .

Your replies to me were personally insulting and demeaning and I will retaliate against anyone that cares to insult me like that , that does not make me a bully , it indicates that like you , I don't cross the road to get away if I see troublemakers about .

Now the picture has gone after the third vote of dissent which means those that probably wouldn't find it offensive will have to wait until the next time I post it before they can decide . So as far as I'm concerned I fail to see why you're still getting all upset about it , now can we please get back to being civil here ?

Time to move on

Absolutely bang on. old trout. Having taken the trouble to read through all the posts made in response to Louise, I was very surprised both how intemperate and how offensive many of them were. She got a lot of the "now run off little woman and talk to someone senior " type of comments from some really pompous individuals.

I dont know why IPC run these forums - they cant sell more magazines, and I dont see how they make money on their own. So they are bound to be sensitive about the forums being used for free advertising, even when the content is as useful as Simons.

Right or wrong, I sympathise with any one, maybe particularly, a lady trying to moderade a total load of pompous, sulky, macho,ish, (but immature, infantile), plonkers!
