Hard Aground inside Mersea Stone

I think a boat in a mud berth will behave differently as it makes a permanent hole for itself and so floats out easily as the tide rises.

My boat is on a swinging mooring sinking it's twin keels into soft Medway mud on every tide. The hull tends to sit on the mud rather than sinking in, so I think the engine and heads water inlets stay above the surface, so remain clear. Never any problems breaking out either.
