Lock restriction
When: Tuesday 2 July 2019 from 8am to 5pm.
Where: Shifford Lock.
What’s happening: Lock sluice counterbalance replacement. We may need to close the lock for periods of time while the work is being carried out.
River restrictions
When: Friday 12 and Saturday 13 July 2019, from 7am to 6pm.
Where: Henley reach – Temple Island to the Upper Thames Rowing Club.
What’s happening: Henley Masters Regatta. During the stated times, no unauthorised boats can navigate within the regatta course booms on the Berks side of the river.
When: Saturday 20 July 2019, from 9:30am to 6pm.
Where: Cleeve reach – Cleeve Lock to a point 600 metres upstream.
What’s happening: Goring and Streatley Regatta. The navigation channel will be on the east, right side of the river.
When: Saturday 27 July 2019, from 6am to 6:30pm.
Where: Shepperton reach – Chertsey Bridge to downstream end of Dumsey Meadow.
What’s happening: Chertsey and Shepperton Regatta. The navigation channel will be on the left, Surrey side of the river.
When: Saturday 17 August 2019, from 8:30am to 6pm.
Where: Temple reach – from the footbridge downstream of Hurley Lock to Harleyford Marina.
What’s happening: Hurley Regatta. The navigation channel will be on the right, Buckinghamshire (Harleyford Estate) side of the river.
When: Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August 2019, from 8am to 6pm.
Where: Iffley reach – Christchurch Meadow to Longbridges.
What’s happening: Oxford City Royal Regatta. The navigation channel will be on the towpath, left side of the river.
