Harbour Authority have all but banned Recreational use

...by all rushing out. :D :D:D
Yes quite so, but, after all preparing our craft we could relax and not fret, sneak down there, reassure our Insurance Companies, sleep well at night and snap during the day as well; we would embrace another Close Down period secure in the knowledge that all is well with the craft, wheras now we are concerned about our craft perhaps unwilling to welcome any extention to the present close down period; so which possition would you rather be in now ?

Would doubt that any Boat Yard Marina would be as busy as say a London Park on a sunny day, with Walkers, Joggers, Excersisers, Sunbathers, would you ?

You obviously are what is known in certain circles as Utterly Jack (that is of course the politer version).

FWIW, I can report that Exeter river & canal are taking a sensible approach to charging.
For people whose boats were there for winter storage & who planned to be out this season, they will make no charge for the storage over the lock down period. This means that we will have no additional cost from the lockdown.

For moorings that we can’t get to, that depends on the owner of the river bed. I pay mine to Powderham Castle, who have offered no discount yet. If the lockdown continues I may ask about this.
Money is money and I dislike paying for something I cannot use. But as wisely said above, it is trivial in the scheme of things.
Good health to all.
