Old house sold, new house bought (exchanged today), boat bought (on Sunday last) and mooring sorted (confirmation letter received today).

I now feel I'm close to being 'in' the sailing community.

Am I gloating too much?

Thanks for the good wishes.
The house will have to come first although I did achieve my objective by buying the boat (completing the monetary transaction on 27th Jan) before buying a house (completing on 29th Jan). We did downsize to get rid of mortgage and as I've wanted a boat for at least 40 yrs, swimbo said it was about time we had one.
I have bought a Moody 33 Mk1 and will sail it round to Dartmouth in late Feb. There isn't much that needs to be done to her but I want to make some changes. Everything is mostly done at the mast at the moment and I want to see if it's possible to bring most string back to the cockpit. Add a chartplotter etc. but nothing is ultra-urgent.
