Many years ago, an old girl friend of mine was killed on the River Medway in one of these.

She was a pupil at Dulwich College, or St Allens, and had to partake in the schools CCF. This was about, 1980 ish.

Scary looking bit of kit.

Never had a go in one though so can't pass comment on it's behaviour in the wet stuff.
