Happy Birthday Nathan

Well I think it is highly contentious having a birthday in this weather. I bet you haven't got your proper birth certificate on board, or the Cartes de Nee (Birthday Cards) required in support of your claim.
Its people like you that will put Somerset House out of business. You can't become a statistic, becuase you aren't registered properly with the authorities.
It is an offence to entreat bystanding people to sing Happy Birthday, I'll just bet you haven't got a permit for Public Music Performances. Young people like you upsetting the gentility with your honking and hooting, carousing away the night in house of ill repute like the Shipwreck or the Bristol Arms

I suppose next you will be proudly telling us that you have been drunk in charge of a vessel in Shotley Marina. Its a disgrace that you have selected a vessel under 7m, trying to evade your responsibilities to the law. Do you think you can get away using that old excuse?

No good can come of this, you are a burden on society, another statistic of failed Britain.

Just give yourself up to the authorities now, and get back to work, you slacker.

A simple 'best wishes' would be enough /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Happy birthday Nathan, if its any consolation the weather here is totally wierd today, sun one second then rain, no wind to howling gusts, very confusing
Have a pint on me if you make it to Shotley tonight, Guapa can pick up the tab /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Not sure but he may be in Shotley. There is a small blue hulled sloop on the East side of the long pontoon if you have a look at their web cam

That's not me. I am here though /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What a cracking sail. The TP worked well enough to give me chance to make a brew, but as soon at it went wind over tide, if couldn't control her, even on a broad reach, and as we were surfing into Harwich, I decided it was far too dangerous for crash gybes, so handled her for a few hours non stop. The time flew by though. Getting int he lock was a nervy experience, tide one way, 25knots wind the other. Haha.

Well, what a cracking birthday present I had... some decent weather!!

Thanks for this thread folks. It is indeed a happy birthday, but now time for a shower and to find the local shop for supplied (lots of wine I think).

I'll be back later for drunken posts /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
