Basic Question....

Does anyone have a pipework diagram of the Hanse 350 heads?

They work well and discharge into the ocean, I can't see how to get them to discharge into the tank, come to that - where is the tank?

Basically Help.....

Andy

Normally on Hanses the tank is in the cockpit locker the other side of the bulkhead in the loo. It will be a gravity tank - and quite frankly it is not an easy thing to miss wherever it is located. follow the discharge pipe from the loo. It goes to the tank and all the discharge goes through the tank. If you want to hold it, close the outlet seacock at the hull. Could not be simpler.

If you don’t have a tank you might have reason to be grateful -they seem to be a source of problems compared to the simpler old version of discharging direct. The problem is with one it always have to via the tank it seems.

If you have queries regarding your Hanse, may I suggest a far better source of information might be the My Hanse forum My hanse
PS I see that you have actually posted on the MY Hanse forum as long ago as 2018. Are you really saying that you have had the boat that long & NOT determined that you actually have a black water tank & where it is ?

The boat was previously managed for me and as such questions like this never cropped up, now they do.

I am thinking there is no blackwater tank.

I shall continue to investigate.

thanks for all the replies.

You might tell by looking on deck for what looks like a filler top by the heads window which is the deck fitting for pump out mentioned above -it looks just like a water tank filler point on deck so easy to confuse
