Hankook or Yuasa leisure batteries?

I've had several Hankooks standard lead acid from Battery Megastore both for boat and car with no issues, I've never considered more exotic types for cost reasons but can't see the advantages.
Paul Rainbow is very knowledgeable on batteries (and indeed most things) so I'd follow his advice.

What sort of lifespan have the Hankook batteries you fitted and those that P Rainbow has supplied had ?

I've had over 12 years life from a couple of Yuasa car batteries.
One was a Halfords Battery labelled "made by Yuasa" the other an original fit in a Renault.
Current Yuasa , in the Renault , is 6 years old and doing fine. I'm hoping it will see me out.
IIRC I bought it from MDS Batteries in N. London but it was delivered direct from Yuasa's depot.

Any info on the life people are getting from Hancocks ?
.

Any comparisons between the life span of a battery fitted to a car and one fitted to a boat are pretty meaningless. The car battery gets a very easy life compared to the typical boat battery.
