Perhaps if there was a Sailing for Disabled Organisation they would have lobbied the Government and had the lighter weight 2 Stroke Outboards granted immunity from being banned. Certainly as a pensioner I dont look foward to lugging a 27 kilo 4hp 4 Stroke the 100 yards from my car to the pontoon, where a 2 stroke weighing 15 kilos would suffice.
So when I saw a Hangkai Outboard for sale on Ebay today I thought that it was a Good Sign. Because these outboards seem to be only for sale on delivery from China, the Good Sign is that the seller has actually done it.
I know nothing about Hangkai Outboards but if the one for sale on Ebay wasent 300 miles from where I live I would be a serious bidder, but its "Collection Only"
And what is the environmental impact of a 4 hp 2 stroke in a year compared to a 4 stroke. Virtually nothing as I dont even use a tankful.
