No. I've been asked by MBM I think, or maybe mby. I've got to write a thingy against bow thrustres, for the mag. Think it's sort of free bi jounalism, but what the hell. Gather that they have caught me around these parts, giving stink about bow thrusters, Cant think where, but anyway I have to put in my report. Before I let loose on the tragities and termoils of bow thrusters, can others give adjectives or more suitable words to discribe this hidious resepticule and splutter out of gunk.

Have had a couple of goes mooring a shaftdrive Fairline 40 & found it very sort of delayed action but agree very positive feeling, whereas my boat is immediate response. Be it shaftdrive or sterndrive its practice that makes it easy. Im used to mooring stern to & can still remember the almighty cock ups I made. I used to dread reversing into my berth, so I had a couple of early morning practice sessions before the piss takers arrived & now usually get in first go & dont worry any more as I now know exactly how by boat responds. bit like swimming really once learned never forgot As for which is best? Well thats a matter of personal opinion..........Nat
