Handicap

How do I go about getting a handicap rating for my boat? Its an 1897 gaff cutter so I presume not as straight forward as a modern yacht.
Any advice most welcome.

If you want to race it in Old Gaffers association events they have their own handicap system & there is a measurement formula to work out the handicap. Not sure if there is a way of converting this to PY, If its Portsmouth yardstick it may mean taking a guess!
