Not sure if I am using the right terminology here, but where can I find a galvanised hand bailer with a wooden handle (looks like a small wok) to replace the usual array of plastic buckets in the bottom of my Dad's new larch on oak rowing boat? Search engine just keeps giving me agricultural instruments for bailing hay! I grew up with these things, but chandlers don't seem to carry them.

Any Farm suppliers or your local horse feed shop.
It's a feed scoop. They do them in cast alloy as well with wood handles.

One here on flee bay but it looks like just pressed or spun tinplate..:-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-Galvanised-Animal-Feed-Scoop-x-2-Blue-Cross-/320579601192?pt=UK_Antiques_Architecural_RL&hash=item4aa4088328

Aha, two galvanised feed scoops duly ordered. Many thanks. At £10 each perhaps the cheapest and most useful bit of traditional boat kit I have come accross. R.
