I have been given a fully battened mainsail for Jazzcat. The foot is a bit too long for my boom and the clew a bit too low, so the boom rests on the sprayhood but, overall, it's in way better nick than the main that came with her, which is also in a shade of blue that the Admiral really doesn't like ? . Any recommendations for someone to adjust it for me, please? I'm in Southampton, the boat's in Gosport, so either or in between would be fine.

Kemps in Gosport although like most sailmakers are up to their eyes in work so unlikely to be quick turnaround.

Having just had a new Genoa and mizzen stackpack from Kemps and a new mizzen from Mark Flew I can wholeheartedly recommend Kemps, much less so Mark Flew.

I think GP sailmakers(Graham Piggott) at Shore Road,Warsash, makes sails for racing catamarans so would be au fait with the requirements for a catamaran sail.
Very cooperative and helpful. Made a superb boat cover for my mates motor dinghy best fit of any I've seen and reasonable pricing I believe.

Interesting! We sent our last Kemps sail back to be sorted which they did, very reluctantly (and their man did the original measuring!). Haven’t used them since.

Was the mizzen made by Flew or by Hyde - I thought that for new sails they only acted as agents for Hyde nowadays. I’ve always been happy with the work Flew Sails has done on my sails.

Sail was made by Hyde and is fine - it was the processes of measuring and delivery done by Mark F that were the issues.
