I worked in silvers after your great uncle left but I do remember him as I lived about 100 yds from his home at silver hills rosneath my dad new him as he worked in the yard and became the manager under John Boyd
I have been collecting material on silver and John Bain designed yachts for the last 40 years there is still many Bain designs use I have some that names and plenty history if you want

Dear John,
Would you have any information on my James Silver "Western Isles" as so far I have drawn a blank with finding any information on my James Silver. From what I have found out she was a one off designed boat, Any help with be gratefully received.
