Am moving boat to Mercury in next couple of weeks and if weather prevents movement by sea I'm going to have to use trailer, can someone please advise what the slip surface is like and is it restricted by tide times? Boat is 7m so space to manoeuvre car and trailer is essential, have plenty of previous experience on other slips but never used this one yet.

Yes it is restricted by tide. I would plan on two hours either side of HW although different sized boats, trailers and levels of expertise can push that a lot further.

Thanks, I don't mind waiting to ensure it all goes well, would rather not get my car wet!!

ha ha !!!........all 100% genuine they are !!!........... your right though, that was a particular bad day and ive not seen it like that since then ..Its more slippery from silt coming down from the creek after a lot of rain than weed ....

Managed to miss you by a couple of days. We were at Mercury Tues/Wed/Thurs.

Are you planning on being there for a while? Work commitments means we probably won't be down to the boat again until the honeymoon in early September.
