Sorry about the delayed reply.

I don't have the manual for the 2020, just the 2002. I understand that they are different base engines, but don't know what difference that makes. If it has elastomer fittings on the drive plate (like the mod to stop fretting on the 2000 series) then the input shaft might be insulated from the engine, but there would need to be similar inserts and an insulating gasket or something between engine and gearbox flanges. Alternatively, something similar between gearbox and leg?

An ohmeter test between engine / gearbox / leg should be fairly conclusive.
