Half of jimi\'s boat - the facts (nb, actually)

I want to put the record straight about jimi's boat. As you may know, I went for a sail with jimi last year, just me and him. The situation was quite clear: I could have the rear berths, whilst he would have those up forward.

Now, he is trying to say that he only meant that the very generous gift of half his boat *only* applied to that particular trip! What a total swiz! He didn't mention any such limitation at the time, and I am very annoyed that he is now trying to diddle me out of what is rightfully mine.

Fortunately, nobody has thought to question why on earth anyone would give me half their boat, or indeed half of anything rather expensive as a "gift" out of the blue, and it is a private matter, except of course when I want to attract popular support to reinforce my argument.

How fortunate you both are that said vessel cannot be put at stud, as that would surely occasion more disagreements and associated juridical shenanigans.

Proposed solution to the problem:

1 Buy aprox 25% shareholding in Glen Rosa plc
2 Call for investigation into all expenditure including any 'quid pro quo' donations to SWMBO to offset boat purchases
3 Exert pressure on the board - preferably starboard
4 Send Jimi to see harbourmaster to deal with alleged stress

I am ofcourse entirley with Jimi on this.
His record speaks for itself and he is a legend at Hythe marina
Jimi's exploits in Europe alone are the stuff of legend, have his picture on the wall.
So he is scottish and drinks too much but i for one will support him forever, or at least as long as he is winning.
i fully trust his story about the dodgy holding tank transfer being done without his knowledge.

TCM - are we talking about the same Glen Rosa that you were telling me about in the Prince of Wales? I didn't think you'd want to go on it again, never mind have a share in it if what you said then was true. Mind you I was certainly very surprised when you mentioned the crotchless silk jobbies - and made by Musto you say?

I could bring my chainsaw along, I'm sure half a sailing boat would make an excellent garden shed. That's probably where the design for rag boats came from in the first place........;-))

Or maybe I mean motor sailers.

Jimi
If you have to divide the boat in half why not give tcm the outside and you have the inside,,,seems fair to me?
