Half a bucket of water in 3 hours

Just read your thread and I have had this problem in the past(water only ingressing when sailing),This turned out to be a clogged one way valve on the automatic bilge pump hose, and when heeled on one tack the stern through-hull outlet was below the waterline and the motion of the boat caused seawater to sython back through the pump only to be stopped when going on the other tack.
I hope this is of help

Thanks John, we did have this last year. Over winter we did make some changes to the path of the hose so it remains above sea level, but I think I'll give it another look.

FOUND IT (them actually)

The bit players:

Split plank under the anode
Hairline crack around a skin fitting
3 deck leaks under chain plates
Vent that leaked when closed

And the star:

1cm long split in the underside of the exhaust hose, right by the outlet.

Time will tell if that's all of them, but I think that will do for this winter!
