The Bianca 27 is very similar to the Great Dane - here are 2 for sale, altho' they are in St Maarten and Denmark :

Perhaps also consider a Trintella 29 : http://www.yachtsnet.co.uk/boats/b81612/b81612.htm

There are nice descriptions of some of the above mentioned boats (eg Halcyon, Contessa and Invicta) in the Yachtsnet archives - http://www.yachtsnet.co.uk/archives.htm

29 feet is a medium sized cruiser, not a pocket cruiser. If you think that just under 30' is small I can't imagine what you consider a large cruiser!

Halcyon 27 Lizzy 29 in today world, I would class as a pocket cruiser! thoughts please !! , Modern boats of 24ft are more spacious than a H27 with a LWL OF 20ft. Anyway don't want to get into the in and outs of what is small, med, large!(I do that with the wife, but normally the other way around I think it large and she thinks it pocket size) I think most people understand what I meant by pocket cruiser.
After spending the last month or so searching and deciding what route to go down . Buy a project and turn into junk rig! or buy a well equipped pocket/med cruiser, with a recent engine, wind vane plus toys etc etc , I think the latter is the way to go. so my aim now is to find one. Thanks for all your in put, I have a list of 6 or 7 boats..
