We purchased a Habitent as an impulse buy (thanks Tescos credit card...) as we were walking out of the Southampton boat show last year. Its the first time we have had a chance to deploy it on a long (and stormy) weekend away on the boat and I must say, I'm astounded. Simple, awesome, crafted with care and great thought. The windows are big enough, the mozzie nets are a great idea, and the whole sides open up. I was worried about access (getting on and off the boat with two kids and the hound is hard enough at the best of times), envisaging having to squeeze under a canopy or whatever, this wasn't a problem at all.
It'll transform the space available to us on Triola (I have no affiliation to Habitent). It weathered a pretty killer downpour and made a lovely cosy space outside (perfect for when the kiddies are going to sleep down below). I thought £445 was steep for a glorified tent, but nope, worth every penny and more.
