I had one on my boat for about a month and then took it off. I went to nylon climbing rope for the traveler, which I think is a better solution. The problem with the Gybe Tamer is that if the spring is soft enough to cushion a gybe, it messes with up-wind sheeting. The nylon traveler line does not do that.
