Well spent night on boat with the hope of getting out today. Thought bit strange as my internal lights which run on battery power were going dim. Any way this morning go to start engine and all my batteries were flat even when I used master switch to link all batteries together engine would not turn over. Gutted. I thought that with me being plugged into mains it should trickle charge. Looks like another expense for the engineer to come out.

I know how you feel. We left Bucklers on Friday evening to spend 2 nights in Cowes. Engines started as normal on Friday, no issues at all. Come to start the engines today to get back to Bucklers.............ZILCH!!. ........just click, click from the starter motors. Was able to source some jump leads to get power from the genny battery which, thankfully worked. Just spent an hour wrestling the two batteries out of their box in the lazarette........if you are a P42 owner you'll know what a b@?&@r? Of a job that is!!........now frantically trying to source replacements as the ones I have removed have nothing to identify what ampage/cranking they were..........anyone out there know what batteries I need??
