Sure - behind a bezel is well protected. Inside the glazing channel of the frame (which I think is what the OP is referring to) is not, however. The glazing allows UV to the bond surface itself. Thus the special primers for ‘fritting’ (painting) such areas Thinwater mentions.But what if the sealant is not exposed to UV, because it is hidden behind a s/s bezel, for example?
