Thats what I have been,

borrowed a dry suit [ thanks Solitaire ]

woolly hat, gloves and boots and a buoyancy aid and I was ready now that was on top of 2 sets of thermals and 2 warm tops, ....oh yes and the thickest socks I own /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

On to the rib I waddled in a hopefully ladylike like fashion and down to the harbor masters pontoon on the river Hamble I I was taken.

I was a pupil for 3 Jet ski instructors to teach /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif


So after a pre launch talk I got to clime onto my steed for the day, no reverse and little stopping ability unless you turned the engine off, So I was intrigued to see what it did do /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

well it was interesting, different and ...................................................fun /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif


Loved being a hooligan and practicing my turns at speed, not flat out, think it is the only time I have been told you need to use more power when boating.

So if you want a good fun day and see things from another side, try the course.

As to the guy who wants them banned you should try it first.
When used responsibly they are great fun , when you add a rescue sled to one they become the most versatile rescue craft you can have .

It is alway's the actions of the minority that spoil it for the majority.
