They seem to have been made in Poland and the are the forerunner to the Jersey 30 and 36 which are still in production...

Any info would be greatly received, also any suggestions of similar style boats..

Maybe...

We don't have children as you know but want to be able to take our dogs out comfortably.

I would like to move away from the traditional 30 / 35 ft boats for something a little more practical for UK weather.

Whilst there is no doubt i like being able to blat along at 40 kts, the prospect of something that will just push through stuff when (as seems to be common) the weather isnt so great, is very appealing. (its about quality time on the water)

Very early days and despite out last trip out, i love the rib and will need to be something rather special to make me switch..

there seems to be little similar to the above on the market which worries me when it comes to resale.

They were built by Arvor (who still make the smaller more fishing orientated boats and they are very popular).

Discontinued and the moulds/tooling sold of to fibreclassics who have rebranded them as the Jersey. Had a look at LIBS last year and I have to say I was pretty impressed with the latest stuff. Seemed a sensible price as well.

Howard, if your thinking of going in that direction James aka Firefly loves his Mitchell. He has posted some footage of rough weather and the boat didn't miss a beat

PS First dibs on your rib lol

thanks all,

Will give boats.co.uk a call at some point to see if they have any info. there only seems to be a few advertised.

I have started speaking with Fibreclassics but not really looking to spend new boat money..

James Mitchell is lovely and the video of it pushing on through the weather is something that appeals to me, especially as we seem to have more wind and rain than sun these days!

There was much discussion in the pub last night with a fellow forum member who kindly donated a full £5 to the cause! ;)
