So I finally made the jump and bought a Sunseeker Manhattan 60 in the med. Very happy with the boat, but still lots of stuff to figure out. One thing is guardianage, my question is what services do you use on your boat of similar size and approximately how much do you pay for them?

The first offer I got was for 500 euros per month for cleaning when needed/small repairs/arranging bigger repairs/set up before our arrival. Not sure if I even want all these services first of all, and wondering what average prices are.

It all depends on how much time you have spare to drive down ,

If you have the free time then you don,t need a guardian.

Just be mindful of the winter weather or tunnel accidents closing the prefered routes across the Alps into Italy .
Sometimes I drive ,somtimes fly in the winter .

In Varazze the best-protected berths are the inner .How ever with a E swell some of the W outer berths get a bit bumpy.

I have Guardianage as there are quite long gaps when I don't visit the boat, especially from Nov - March. The arrangement is they come on board every 2 weeks, turn on and check all systems (they will run the engines, but I don't want this), move seacocks etc. They make extra visits during a Mistral to check the lines etc. They clean the boat just on request - I get them to do it the day before I arrive. They also arrange lift & antifoul and general maintenance on request and act as key holders for anyone that needs access to the boat, such as MTU for engine service etc. They charge 60 euros per month. The best thing is they have their own engineers plus they can put me in touch with all sorts of specialists when needed, saving me the time, effort and language barrier. The monthly fee is a real bargain, but then they are first in line for all the maintenance work.

I have guardiennage year round for a cost similar to your e500 per month. For this, they clean the boat inside and out once a week, carry out routine maintenance/system checks on everything and usually fix any minor problems that occur without being asked. For repairs, labour (within reason) is included, parts are charged separately and they call to confirm/agree any significant work in advance. They check lines, etc. on all of their boats every day (I've seen them doing it on other boats in the marina) and also ahead of any rough weather. We have an understanding that they can skip some of the weekly cleans during the winter months provided they make up for this in the summer months, cleaning the boat after use so its ready for the next day. The same company handles the annual lift, anti-foul, etc. For any more technical repairs or upgrades they work with/coordinate Sunseeker and local contractors. Its expensive, but means I don't have to worry about the boat being ready when I want it or looked after when I'm away.

I assume the €60 doesn't include the boat cleans?
