Grrrr!!! Where can I get an online manual for a merc40 outboard!

Having a real problem with a merc 40, the serial number doesnt seem to match with anything, so I cant get spares or a manual. The recoil on the pull start keeps jamming, it keeps flooding and stalling appart from when it goes into warp drive and revs its nuts off for no particular reason

at the end of my teather, and Ill be buggered if im spending 71 dollars on a complete mercury book.

Anyone know of a website where i might get a free/pdf manual?

I hate engines.
