GRP hull stain remover

I did my hull at the weekend. Oxalic acid from ebay dissolved in a kettle of hot water in the ships turd bucket. Paint it on with a paint brush and keep going round hull until it's all gone. Took about 20 mins then jetwashed off.

Whilst googling I came across a suggestion to use a baking soda paste, anyone ever tried this or got any other ideas that do not entail chandlers' products.

Thanks

Hi, Try ACE laundry bleach. It is a vicous liquid and contains hydrogen peroxide.Smear it on and leave 10 mins. Wipe of with a dry cloth. If you use water you will be amazed how much foam is produced.......

It's good stuff but be careful with jet washing in case you get it in your mouth or eyes.
