Grit blasting

Not been on the forum for a while but yet another project boat has driven me back. Can anyone recommend a grit blaster on the South Coast? The OH wants me to spend every weekend between now and the spring scraping back 25 years worth of anti-fouling - I'm not so keen as I'd still like to be able to walk upright next summer.

We had our last project blasted about 6 years ago but have lost the contact details so I thought I'd ask your collective wisdom.

I had symblast do my boat in the fareham area, good service and saved a huge ammount of work, needed a little sanding and filling after, have you thought what to do with the surface after? Having given it thought I opted just to prime and paint rather than peeling the gel etc

You will probably find things have changed since you last had this done particularly in ensuing that the environment is protected. You will almost certainly need the yards permission as they will become liable for ensuring that the contamination is removed and there is no run off or leaching. If a specialist contractor does not offer to do this and provide method statements walk away as they are a cowboy.
