Greetings from Port grimaud

hi everyone, hope everything is ok back in england /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Just thought I'd say hi because its been quite a while, trailered the boat down here a month ago, tired but put the boat into the water after the 1000 mile journey, slip man was eager to get it in straight away - all went in OK, came back 10 mins later - "OK, who forgot to put the bloody bung in?" almost sank but managed to bilge and bail just in time *phew*

after that little incident, everything has been fine, the boat has been perfect for what i hoped it would be good at, hope to post some images soon when i return.

Hope everybody has had a good boating season, look forward to backtracking through the posts i've missed!

also waved to the beckhams on cavallis yacht in port grimaud after being behind them on the way back in to port /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif made my day!

Yip, I've done that too, luckily it was still on the trailer so couldn't sink far, and i pulled it straight out when i realised i'd forgotten!! Doh!!

First boat.----- bunged SWMBO + 3 Sprogs in the boat + 1 puppy,---bunged the boat in the oggin "You might as well bung the sarnies in the oggin as well" SWHBO hollered at me as I parked the trailer. "The waters up to my knees ,up to Helen,s chin, David,s chest and Catherines waist ,the puppy,s swam off with the Swans"

Did the same trip in June, i don't envy you doing it in the summer traffic, dutch caravans etc... . Glad to hear you're enjoying pg, hope you've sampled some of the restaurants, and of course pampelonne beach.

I wasnt expecting so much interest /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

have lots of pics to keep me going over the winter months whenever I start to miss life in the sun, as I sure most of you have as well, making the most of it!

saw a lovel yacht on the way to pampelonne beach today, called Indian Empress, if anyone has heard of it i would loved to know who owned it - really dwarfed the obviously jealous easycruise liner!

anyway, next post next week!
