Green stains

Hi Guys
So when we brought this boat it had green stains on the sail cover and spray hood from months standing near trees .
Not wishing to damage the canvas we lightly try removing it with gently rubbing in white vinegar and some did come off but now it started to appear again .
What do people suggest to remove it without damaging or affecting the water protection of the canvas ?

Patio Magic, brushed on with a paint brush, should shift it without having to scrub. And discourage re growth. Takes twelve to twenty four hours for the green to disappear.

Another vote for Patio Magic - one of the few products available that still actually does what it says on the tin - BUT I think that time estimate may be a bit optimistic this cooler time of year, - I recently did some wooden garden furniture and it took the best part of a week for it to work.

Just be grateful that it's green stains and not brown stains induced by an Orca visit

Patio Magic will work, but if they are a few years old worth considering having them professionally cleaned and reproofed. I had my sprayhood done after 5 years and it came back like new. Not expensive in relation to a new one.

I use Patio Magic but the full effect doesn’t usually appear until after the surface has been washed by rain.

It depends where you are - amount of dampness, temperatures and amount of overhanging stuff.
