I have just removed my rawwater pump for a bit of a clean up. There is some green corrosion on it. Whats the best way to clean it off, Wire brush on a dremel, brick acid, bi carb of soda or something else?

It will be copper carbonate / chloride from the weep hole, check the bearings and seal. In itself if it's on the outside not a problem and can be removed with a stiff brush.

Hot water, washing up liquid and a brush ( not too stiff) to start with.

Vinegar perhaps
Citric acid solution should work well
Last of all very dilute hydrochloric acid / brick cleaner.

Wire brush if scratching the surface is not important.
