Last year as we had the bottom stripped of all old coatings we decided to change the AF colour to a pale green. We used Seajet Samurai 031 green. Turns out to be a bad choice for our location, Dart estuary, so we need to find a similar colour but a more effective brand.

Anyone use a green like this, what type, location and how effective?

That looks very close to our old 2.5 ton Hillyard 'May' we had before our HB 'Diana' the roof line is much prettier and the hull more refined though. Can I let the HB Owners assoc know of the boat?

Yes great, I did overlay a HB lines drawing over a picture of Cariad,,, Its identical .. But smaller . I also have a letter from Mashford confirming her history , She was in Falmouth for 30years owned by Gerald Morris, prior to my buying her from him.

They dont do Tiger in green apparently, the only Hempels suitable for a slow wooden sailing boat is Hempels Broads!
Not sure how good that will be on the Dart Estuary.

I used Trilux 33 green this season, and it seems to have done the trick beginning July to date on a half tide mooring in the Salcombe/Kingsbridge “estuary”.

I couldn't give two hoots about the underwater colour of my boat, but for what it's worth, I use a copper rich a/f (ex MOD) which goes on red, but changes to green after a few weeks in the sea.
