Hi All
Planning a trip up river (from Laleham) next week but bit concerned at huge amount of weed in the river. Should I be? Never seen so much and as it drifts down it shows just how sluggish the current is. Apart from keeping an eye on the strainer any other tips?

Thanks in advance

The drifting stuff is fairly harmless but it's a bit thicker near the banks, not an issue though we came up from there this week and had no problems.

Fairly harmless maybe, BUT my filters were full after a few days when they are only partially full after weeks. Today in the Chertsey area (and lock) the river was solid and this stuff is not just on the surface . Be warned.
