Green algae and dettol

Not been to the boat for a while green algae on sunny side somebody told me use dettol to clean proper dettol not spray. Anyway diluted in water not very strong and wow the green just falls off
Edit Need. SWMBO to apply though so to enable snooze mode

It's f'ing expensive - it's basically dilute household bleach in a fancy container!

Apart from 2.5% bleach, the only thing the Dettol spray has is surfactant and perfume.

The HG Mould Spray contains sodium hydroxide as well as bleach. Sodium hydroxide has antimicrobial properties.
