Staying on the boat last night at Cobbs Quay, however with the wind getting up somewhat yesterday a yacht a couple of berths up had some manic halyard clanking going on.

I wouldn't mind normally but I really struggle to sleep with noise like that (especially when each time the wind dies down for a bit you think it's stopping and relax but then it re-awakes with a greater fury a few moments later) and with having to get up at 6.30am this morning I finally cracked at about 11pm and asked the night dockmaster if there was anything he could do.

Was much more in hope than expectation with it being dark, wet and windy. However about 30 mins later the clanking stopped. Impressed. Thanks for sorting it Neil.

We also slept there last night - fact had the best night's sleep I've had for some time, we were nice and quiet at the far end of "B" pontoon.

Nice to hear some praise for a change, I always give thanks if I can, any case they are a good crowd, try to look after us if they possibly can.

My only sorrow is that the cleaner's have had to leave. I thought they gave a most excellent service. They will be missed by us anyway.

First didn't think Neil work night's,sure you were not dreaming!!& which cleaners do you mean, regards mm1.
